Table 1: Foreign students should complete the health examinations according to their nationality.

Health exam for short-term study (Form C)
  1. Proof of Positive Measles and Rubella Antibody or Measles and Rubella Vaccination Certificates (you may have your vaccination record available for the physicians review at the time of the medical examination after arrival. If you dont have one, the physician will work with you to determine which vaccinations you may need to meet the requirements.)
  2. Chest X-ray for tuberculosis
 Foreign students and Hong Kong&Macau students Foreign students and Hong Kong and Macau students who stay in Taiwan longer than 3 months but less than 6 months. eg. foreign exchange student If you have completed the Foreigner Health Examination for short-term study within two months before arrival, you do not need to do it again. Or you should conduct it in the designated hospital within 14 days after arrival. The school Division of Health Service will arrange for new foreign students.
Mainland China students Mainland China students who stay in Taiwan longer than 2 months The school Division of Health Service will arrange for new foreign students within 14 days after arrival. See Table 2.
Health exam for residence in Taiwan (Form B)
  1. Proof of Positive Measles and Rubella Antibody or Measles and Rubella Vaccination Certificates (you may have your vaccination record available for the physicians review at the time of the medical examination after arrival. If you dont have one, the physician will work with you to determine which vaccinations you may need to meet the requirements.)
  2. Chest X-ray for Tuberculosis
  3. Serological Tests for Syphilis
  4. Examinations for Hansens Disease
  5. Stool Examination for Parasites
 Foreign students and Hong Kong&Macau students Foreign students and Hong Kong and Macau students who stay in Taiwan longer than 6 months If you have completed the Foreigner Health Examination for short-term study within two months before arrival, you do not need to do it again.   1. Physical examination
  2. CBC (Complete blood count), Biochemistry, Serological Tests for Syphilis
  3. Anti-HBs testing
  4. Urine Routine
  5. Chest X-ray
 All of the freshman Enrolled student who stay in school longer than 6 months The school Division of Health Service will arrange for new foreign students on the first week of a new semester.
